I’ve had a love of photography for as long as I can remember and have been taking photos for more than twenty years, even before digital cameras existed, when I spent much of my time developing film in dark rooms.

Taking photographs of people has always fascinated me, capturing emotions, personalities and moments as they happen and preserving that moment forever.

My photos are also inspired by the stunning landscape all around us in Cornwall, the openness of the sky, the ruggedness of the coast and ever changing sea.

I have a degree in graphic design and an agency background, so my attention to detail and professional approach comes naturally. I take proper briefs, turn up on time, and make sure you get everything you need, when you need it.

My love for film photography is still going strong and even when I shoot using digital, I try to maintain that timeless film quality.

I make sure I take the time to get to know you and understand what you want/need from your photographs and what’s most important for me to capture on the day.

I shoot totally naturally, and try not to stage the day, so no awkward posed shots or clichés, and I definitely won’t be herding your guests around for hours. I step back from the action, capturing the day as it happens and not missing a single detail. For me, the most important thing is capturing the essence of the day, the fleeting moments, the little details and most importantly, the people. For me, people make weddings, and I thrive on capturing reactions, emotions, nerves and joy, it’s the part of wedding photography I enjoy the most.

A big part of making sure all of this happens on the day is us getting together to understand how the day will run, so I can make sure I’m always in the right place at the right time.
